David lough
David is a graduate of Green High School and went on to play Baseball and Football at Mercyhurst College. He was then drafted in the 11th round of the 2007 MLB draft by the Kansas City Royals, and made his Major League debut in 2012 against the Minnesota Twins and finished the year 8th in the American League Rookie of the Year voting. David played several more years with the Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Phillies all while opening The Warehouse in 2014. He is a certified personal trainer under the National Council on Strength and Fitness and continues to further his education in Exercise Science.
Michael Joy
Michael graduated from The University of Akron with a B.S Exercise Science; Pre-Physical Therapy. He has been working with athletes from the youth to professional level since 2010. Starting at The Warehouse in 2016 he has worked with numerous individual athlete’s at the youth, high school, collegiate, and professional level’s. Michael has trained local sports teams at all 3 levels and has had the opportunity to work with NBA Veteran Kosta Koufos, and Professional Basketball player Errick McCollum during the offseason. He combines multiple methods of training to provide the best program for each individual athlete.
Jeremy Severn
Jeremy is a fitness professional with a lifetime passion for health and wellness. With over a decade in the industry, he has been instructing fitness ranging from conditioning for professional mixed martial artists, youth jiu-jitsu, individual personal training and group fitness. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and CPR/AED certified. Coached over 2500 group fitness classes including hiit, cardio kickboxing, boot camp style classes. He offers personal training, small group classes, as well as boxing/kickboxing training sessions.
Nick LeMay
Nick studied at Kent State University in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Sports Nutrition and is a certified personal trainer under the National Council on Strength & Fitness. He began his career from 2017-2018 at Spire Performance in Geneva, Ohio training multiple athletes from the youth to collegiate level, as well as training veterans from the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA for multiple Paralympic Events. He then interned under Mike Winkler, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron from 2018-2019, where he developed programs for Swimming and Track, and assisted in the training of multiple sports before joining the Warehouse team shortly after.
Sam Groves
Sam graduated from Kent State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science: Movement Studies and a minor in Athletic Coaching. He was a D1 athlete for Kent State University Track & Field throwing shotput, discus and javelin. Assistant to the throwing team helping coach a national champion and two Olympic throwers along with two Masters Olympic throwers. In high school Sam was a multi-sport athlete participating in Soccer, Swim, Track and Volleyball. Sam is also a certified CPR/First Aid instructor.
Mitch Balla
Mitch is a 2016 graduate and 2x federal league & 2x district champion in baseball at Jackson high school. Mitch continued his baseball & academic career at Notre Dame College from 2016-2020 where he was a 3x all MEC academic team award winner. Mitch double majored in communications and public relations as well as minoring in coaching. Over the last 4 years, mitch has remained on the diamond as a coach, spending the 2020 season as an assistant coach for the Brownlee Lookouts, two following seasons as the head coach of the 15 & 16u Jackson summer ball teams before coming to lead the first ever Warkats team, as well as becoming part of the Warehouse Training & Performance team. Mitch is also an assistant baseball coach at Akron Hoban high school.
